Mo-Mi Lamb

Mo-Mi Lamb

Missouri to Michigan

Mo-Mi Lamb isn’t just a farm — it’s a collaboration, a philosophy, and honestly, a bit of a love letter to what American lamb can and should be.

The story starts with two kindred spirits working together as a cooperative: Cabriejo Ranch, headquartered in the Ozarks of Missouri, and Ham Sweet Farm, a family operation rooted in food, farming, and butchery with Italian culinary roots. Together, they set out to raise lamb the way their ancestors would recognize: on open pasture, without shortcuts, with as much attention paid to the land as to the animal.

Mo-Mi lambs are grown longer and larger than industry standard, a deliberate choice that yields marbling and depth of flavor most American lamb simply doesn’t have. Clean, rich, and grassy. That’s how lamb is meant to taste.

Their commitment to the land is just as serious as their commitment to flavor. Mo-Mi Lamb is certified Regenerative by the Savory Institute’s Land to Market program and American Grassfed Association (AGA) certified — two of the most meaningful credentials in sustainable agriculture today. Cabriejo Ranch’s flocks of Merino cross fine wool ewes graze across managed pastures from Missouri to Michigan, with every aspect of their care guided by natural, humane practices. Their team is trained to the highest standards of animal welfare across lambing, grazing, shearing, and transport.

Ham Sweet Farm brings the craft side of the partnership: carefully sourced ingredients, Italian-inspired flavor sensibilities, and a “farmily to table” ethos that keeps every step of the process intentional and transparent.

For Farm Hounds, Mo-Mi Lamb represents exactly the kind of partner we look for — farmers who are raising healthier animals, restoring the soil beneath them, and doing it with real integrity from start to finish. Your dog gets the benefits of all of it.
