Everything we make is connected to family farms. When you purchase from Farm Hounds, you will always know the exact farm we worked with to make that product.
We maintain the connection to the farm through the entire process by placing the farm name on every product.
Primarily sourced from these farms:
Availability
We choose to source from working farms which means animals may not mature on our timetable. At times, this means we do not have access to the products we want or need. However, we continue to identify small, true working farms that we can partner with to help minimize any shortages.
Storage
Keep in a cool/dry place. Our dehydrated products are free of preservatives and pesticides, and although it is very uncommon, bugs and mold (from added moisture) are your two culprits for causing trouble.
Our bagged products do great in the bag they come in. Just keep them away from wet environments and the bag closed when you aren't using them. For longer storage, the freezer can be a great way to keep our products fresh, and away from bugs and pests that might show interest.

I bought a bag for her to try. If she could I think she would eat the whole bag.. Z is an eski- Shepherd with the size of the american eskimo (minerature) but the temperament of the gsd and look like a gsd minerature. She is my service dog/nurse. It is my duty to take good care of her and treat her like the little queen she is.
I thank you for allowing me to do so with the special treat from your farms. I am very choosy about what she eats. And you guys are A1.

I’m a veterinary technician and have been in the field for 10+ years.. so, I’ve come across my fair share of different treats. This one specifically, takes precedence over all the others.. (at times will/can be picky- he’s a 75 lb MN am staff, 9 y/o & my everything/soulmate) so what I feed him is very very important to me (sometimes I wish I ate as well as him) lol
I give a *high five* to the fact that the sources are from the East Coast, as I am in Southern California. Not necessarily 100% confident on something’s… (as long as it’s not owned by bill gates. jk, but really) lol
