Launching in 2019,HERO Farmsbegan the journey of building a regenerative agriculture cooperative focused on connecting quality farm products to the direct consumer. HERO founders Alex and Tom, starting with Stone Mountain Cattle Company, are bringing the highest quality products available to the doorsteps of the southeast via eCommerce. HERO (Healing the Environment Regenerating Ourselves) was founded with the idea that, together with their members, they can create a business in which their members will have a front row seat to supporting small farms all while accessing the incredible products that come from them.

The Heritage Foods cooperative was founded in 2001 to preserve endangered species of livestock from extinction. Their partner farmers grow 100% heritage breed pigs, turkeys, lamb, chickens, ducks, guineas, and geese. All animals are raised humanely, outdoors, on pasture, using traditional farming techniques. They reproduce naturally and are never fed any antibiotics or growth hormones. Heritage meats are juicy and tender from their marbling and boast a profound taste and depth of flavor that has not been squashed by a corporate culture that only cares about rapid production.
Vital Mission Farm is a small regenerative farm with a big focus on being a part of the climate solution. Their mission is to produce the highest quality food in a manner that is nurturing for the animal, healthy for the consumer, regenerating for the soil, providing habitat for wildlife, and healing for our environment.
Established in the fall of 2007, after Kyle and Emily Becker purchased a 100 acre farm in Mooreland, Indiana. Their initial focus was freezer beef and since that time, they have diversified their farm offerings to also include pork, chicken, turkey, eggs, and milk. They sell their products direct-to-consumer at farmers markets and through a CSA program, as well as to restaurant in East-Central Indiana.
