For more than 60 years,Maple Leaf Farmshas produced safe, high-quality foods in a thoughtful and responsible manner. Through the years, they have preserved the ideas we were founded upon: contribution to local communities, responsibility for the environment, respect for others and insistence on high quality.
Don Pitman began raising free-range turkeys and chickens in 1954. They are now a family farm that focus their energy on raising animals in humane, natural environments, selling quality meat economically so anyone who’s concerned about the way farm animals are treated can afford higher welfare products.
Starting in 2009, farmers Jesse and Liz Straight, moved back to their hometown of Warrenton to build a farm that emulates nature. Raising chickens, turkeys, pigs, and cattle, they’ve built an agriculture system that allow their animals to live as closely as they would normally live in the wild.
