Thompson Farms is a family-owned pig farm located in Dixie, Georgia. “Grandaddy” Raymond started the farm at the age of 74 after having grown up in the pig farming industry. His son Andrew, who now manages the family farm, continues Raymond's legacy with his own children, Abby and Bayly.

Polyface Farm is a farm located in rural Swoope, Virginia, run by Joel Salatin and his family. The farm is driven using unconventional methods with the goal of emotionally, economically and environmentally enhancing agriculture. Today, the farm arguably represents America’s premier non-industrial food production oasis.
